The Nord series have proved popular over the years amongst all vapers and the Nord 4 is what we are reviewing here.
This pod system, from Smok, has proved popular again and again with vape users. This pod kit alludes to being more of a small sub-ohm kit system, than your standard pod device. The Nord 4 is a great improvement on its predecessors and is likely to be favoured more by the DTL (direct to lung) vapers. However, the airflow system means it is still more than suitable for MTL (mouth to lung) usage, making it perfect for those new to vaping and who are looking to move away from cigarettes.
Nord 4 Features
The NOrd 4 is powered by a 200mAh internal battery, capable of hitting 80 watts of power. It charges up quickly too, usually hitting full charge in approximately 50 minutes from 0 percent.
It arrives with two pods – the RPM and RPM2, with a coil suitable for each. The RPM coils do a fantastic job, producing enhanced flavours and they are good on cloud vape production too.
There is a dual airflow system that enables you to find your acquired perfect taste for your favourite e-liquid flavour. The airflow is controlled by a small wheel which has a convenient groove, but this is quiet small so can be a little bit fiddly to adjust. The fire button, pressed for when taking a draw, is located just below the airflow wheel selector.
The display is located on the opposite side of the button and airflow flow wheel and though small packs a couple of nice functions.
There is also a well-formed mouthpiece which means ease of use when looking for the drag.
It is a metal formed pod which is available in a range of carefully crafted colours in various patterns. A compact sized pod that easily fits within the palm making it practical and perfect when out on social occasions.
Conclusion
In conclusion the Nord 4 is a great upgrade from previous versions and perfect for every day DTL vaping. It is tantalisingly compact, without the loss of standard functionality, the battery life is good and can produce an ample vape clouds. The Nord 4s airflow system also ensures it is not limiting itself, so ensuring it remains at the top of the tree within the convenient pod market.
